We went camping this weekend to the lake. I never grew up on the water. Not a very strong swimmer and really have not liked jumping in the lake. Well I decided I need to get over it, a whole lesson in forcing myself to get outside my comfort zone. Well thanks to my very dear friends I not only got into the lake with out a life jacket I also water skied for the first time. Besides the few bruises I have from not so soft landings, I can not wait to go again. #101 marked off my list. Thanks P & C for all your encouragement.
Congrats on facing fear in the eye while you compete for 50 G's! I didn't realize that you never went in the water during Hell Tour 90, but then that was a bit of a blur! Just got an email from your little brother, i guess i am going to see him and the Fam this weekend! Take care!

I think I went in the water once and I had a life jacket on. WOW that was a long time ago. Next week I may even try wake boarding. Going to look for the group photo and post it on the site. Give my bro a big hug. Will you send me your dance studio web site I have a few people I would like to share it with. Thanks for checking in.C
ReplyDelete16 summers ago to be exact...scary thought! I'll be sure to give your Bro and his family some hugs..it has been far too long since I saw them last, but that goes for almost everyone I know. I typed the url for our website in here, so hopefully it will show up. I think you will love wakeboarding.
ReplyDeleteHooray for you! Life is so much cooler when we walk through our fears :)
