This year my children had a very big adjustment moving from Wyoming to Texas. New school, new friends and all while missing what they left behind. It has been just 4 months and I have to report all is very well. Report cards came home on Friday with all "A". They chat on the phone to old friends and have made new ones. They love their new school.
We are celebrating today because our daughter came home today with the announcement of winning the Reading Bee at the school level out of 88 kids. Saturday she will go up against all the other elementary schools......will update details Saturday. We could not be happier for our 2nd grader and her love for reading.
Congratulations to Amelia and congratulations to you and Curtis for raising children who like to read. That is a very rewarding past time. Glad to hear all is well in Texas.
