Edible flowers

After writing yesterday about the Indian Paint Brush being edible, thought I would find a few others I could add to my garden this year.
As you get ready this year to plant your spring flowers, think about adding a few of these edible flowers. Not only will they look great in your gardens but also on your plate.

Daisies (Bellis perennis quills)

Dandelions (Taraxacum officinale leaves, roots, flowers, petals, buds) Okay so you won't have to plant these ones. Makes me look at them in a different light :-)
Daylilies (Hemerocallis buds, flowers, petals)
Pansies (Viola x Wittrockiana flowers, petals)
Pot Marigolds (Calendula officinalis petals with white heel removed) Nasturtium (blossoms and seeds)
Osmanthus fragrans (flower)
Chrysanthemum (flower)
Roses (Rosa petals with white heel removed, rose hips)
Sunflowers (Helianthus annuus buds, petals, seeds)
Sesbania grandiflora (flower)
