Orange Salad

A family tradition when having turkey you must have orange salad. I think the recipe started at Auntie Millie and was passed to Auntie Jean on to Bev, and from there on to the rest of us. I am not sure why we do not make it more often, but that could go for turkey also. Kids and adults alike love it!

So now I am going to share the recipe, So from me to you Bev's Orange Salad:

Part 1
Mix together
1 box of orange jello (regular size)
1 cup of boiling water
1 6oz can of frozen orange juice
1 can drained oranges (save 8-10 pieces for garnish)
Let set up

Part 2
1 box lemon jello
1 cup boiling water
Partially set

Part 3
When lemon jello is partially set add one small container of cool whip and 4 oz of cream cheese, and mix until smooth.

Take the lemon mixture and spread on top of your orange mixture that is set. Garnish with remaining oranges and keep in fridge until served.

Note: I use sugar free jello, fat free cool whip and 1/2 fat cream cheese (no one can tell the difference except maybe you waist line.
