"When the Khmer Rouge regime took power in Cambodia in 1975, its leaders hoped to establish a utopian rural communist society without cities, private property or money. They declared a new beginning of history, Year Zero, and a new nation, Democratic Kampuchea. Religion and worship were abolished. Buddhist monks were disrobed and often killed. Muslim Chams and the few Christians were murdered at a rate much higher than ordinary Kampucheans. Vietnamese Cambodians were forced to flee to Vietnam until 1977, when the border was closed and the remaining Vietnamese were murdered. Minority ethnic groups were forced to live in Khmer-speaking communes, and forbidden to speak their languages and practice their customs. Censuses and demographic studies indicate that from 1.7 to 2.2 million people perished in the three years, eight months, and twenty days of Democratic Kampuchea"
Any one with any education was killed leaving a country with no medical professionals, or no teachers.

My friends Kari and George have started an amazing journey after adopting Grady from Cambodia. These 2 are living proof of one person can make a difference.
Now I know I started out with heavy information, anyone who knows me will tell you I think mostly with my heart and not my head.
What I do know is this:
- this is an elementary school, these are kids
- they want to learn; to read, to garden, to make a better life
- about 180 kids have a school because one person thought enough to take action
- 6 teachers are support by the Friends of the Grady Grossman School
- we all have to do laundry, think about what one person can do if they switched stores
- I am one person and I am making a difference

I am a poet.... who almost ran for president in the year 2004.. but found out you had to be 35 years old to run... i still i can do more for every any any community than those right now... i hope to one day create the cure for aids n every other disease if i am blessed to do so.. or least do my part if 100 million people gave one dollar that would be a good move to finding a cure for aids since it's killed 100 n 100 of billions .. it's exterminating us... n fast... worst part of it. it's attacking our youth.... our future...... so now i am asking u as a human to another human will u fight alongide me for humanity.. it's not about money it's about the future our future right now sunday august 13 2006 people are getting bombed out of their houses over seas... it affects us... our problem as society is we wait till things happen to do something about it.. that's what the twin towers and contrina is really about.. besides the money.. the revelution will not be televised so turn off ur tv's.... our the brainwashing mechanisim as some may call it.. feel free to leave comments.. i am an antiviolence activist trying to do my part i need your help though everyone's help.... know thyself and to thy self be true, , , i plan to establish a 100 million dollar non profit corparations so that way currency won't restrict us from fixing the problems that need fixing and we do not have to wait on others like katrina this servicew will be available to anyone who actually needs it... all those interesting in joining the rebuild the planet memership feel free.... to ask ? as it will become reality in the near future.. till then.. take care...
